Myers-Briggs Type Indicator: ISTJ
Hi, I’m Victoria. I’m an award-winning UX designer working for Pizza Hut. My projects for Pizza Hut include designing user-centric experiences for the customer-facing app, internal apps, and website, all based on user research, usability testing, and UX best practices.
Over the last 10+ years of varied experience in the marketing realm (as well as my training in design and journalism at Iowa State University), I’ve cultivated skills in graphic design, social media, copywriting and editing, branding, and communications strategy. I’ve created a pretty substantial amount of innovative deliverables and collaborated with some exceedingly talented individuals — not to mention guzzled through my fair share of coffee and Diet Coke!
My work varies depending on the challenges set before me. However, I do carry a unique flair from one project to another. I refuse to procrastinate and I’m a perfectionist by nature, so I quickly and efficiently polish each project until it meets my high personal standards. I am extremely detail-oriented and am known to spot things like an extra space between two words or a line ending a couple pixels short of where it should. I live by spreadsheets and color-coded calendars.
When I’m not in front of the computer, I can be found running (I’ve got two marathons and nine half-marathons under my belt so far), checking out a local musical, playing board games, or eating irresponsible amounts of cereal.
I also draw photorealistic portraits. I’ve displayed my artwork in the State Fair of Texas and the Iowa State Fair for the past 11 years, receiving 2nd and 3rd Place in 2018, 3rd Place in 2017 and 2016, Honorable Mention in 2015, two Honorable Mentions in 2013, Honorable Mention in 2012, 2nd Place in 2011, a Merit Award in 2010, Honorable Mention in 2008, a People’s Choice Award in 2006, and Best of Show for a contest in 2004.
