For my wedding, I wanted the printed stationery to be reminiscent of Victorian advertisements but with a modern twist. I chose silver and white to create a neutral but elegant color palette, which also worked well for keeping printing costs minimal.
The monogram was created by combining the “M” from my now-husband’s name and the “V” from my name to create a heart. I repeated this “logo” on the save-the-dates and a wax seal that secured the invitations. (It was also used elsewhere, such as on signage and our cake.) To include Victorian details, I added silhouettes of our profile and a wax seal on the invitations. I tied skeleton keys to the place cards for an additional tie-in to the theme.
